{"id":243,"date":"2020-10-30T05:49:32","date_gmt":"2020-10-30T05:49:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dialysisvallarta.com\/testimonial\/we-could-not-be-happier-with-the-service-and-support-we-have-received-from-dr-contreras-over-the-years\/"},"modified":"2026-04-13T17:46:52","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T17:46:52","slug":"we-could-not-be-happier-with-the-service-and-support-we-have-received-from-dr-contreras-over-the-years","status":"publish","type":"testimonial","link":"https:\/\/www.dialysisvallarta.com\/es\/testimonial\/we-could-not-be-happier-with-the-service-and-support-we-have-received-from-dr-contreras-over-the-years\/","title":{"rendered":"We could not be happier with the service and support we have received from Dr. Contreras over the years"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I first met Dr. Contreras in Feb 2013 at San Javier Hospital in Nuevo Vallarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was initially hesitant about receiving dialysis treatments outside of Canada.\u00a0 Upon walking into the facility, I was immediately impressed with the exceptional level of cleanliness.\u00a0 \u00a0It was unlike anything I had ever seen in a hospital before.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I received dialysis treatments three times per week during our six-week stay in Puerto Vallarta.\u00a0 The nurses were always very accommodating, friendly, and helpful.\u00a0 Dr. Contreras checked in on me during each appointment to offer support, encouragement and share a laugh or two.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In August 2013, I was fortunate enough to receive a kidney transplant and no longer required dialysis.\u00a0 We have returned to Puerto Vallarta each winter since knowing we will receive exceptional medical care.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the past 7 years, Dr. Contreras has become our family doctor during the three to four months we winter in Mexico.\u00a0 \u00a0Over the years he has treated my wife and I for vertigo, back pain, pneumonia, and high blood pressure to name just a few things.\u00a0\u00a0 During each appointment he continues to impress us with his knowledge, communication skills, quick response time and patient-centric approach.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We could not be happier with the service and support we have received from Dr. Contreras over the years.
